Our Story

Intake software has been a necessity in the personal injury world for years. Jason Hadrava joined a south Florida law firm (PI, WC, SSD) as their IT Director in 2014. When starting his new position, he saw that they had a homegrown basic intake system that the prior teams had pieced together over the years since 2009. The system was a Windows-based local application that did basic processing of leads and potential new clients. This was a necessity in the case types in a firm of this style.
The more he studied and watched the Intake group struggle with volume and processing leads, he decided that there must be a better way to help with technology. The technology team started small and began adding logic based questionnaires to the existing system. They then began adding the ability for lead vendors, and web leads to be auto imported. All of these small changes were a significant success. Once this was apparent that managing leads this way would be a business game-changer, his team went to work evaluating solutions on the market. What they found after evaluating multiple solutions is that the industry was on the right track, however, no one was driving the solution home easily with the automation and technology taking things to that next level that he and his team could envision.
In the summer of 2017, the pen went to paper, and Jason and his team began architecting a first-class solution. Development started in late summer, and the first version of the web-based design Intake Matters 1.0 was released on December 15th, 2017. The team saw the benefits within days of the release, and ideas began coming quicker than the team could code solutions. We are now in 2019 and on version 6.5 of a mature, easy to use, powerhouse Intake management application. This was built for the Personal Injury world; however, it quickly became apparent that the value of their design was in the backend automation and workflows that can be applied to any business system in today’s market.
The system allows for the quick, concise management of leads no matter what the source. It allows for larger volumes of leads to be handled with greater efficiencies and less human capital, which increases customer service and conversions. For example, in the firm we have used it in, a significant increase in leads has occurred without adding staff. Therefore, more leads can be processed with more considerable attention, increasing the conversion rates of leads to cases.
